A Grand Proclamation By Tami Heim
God’s Word is a grand proclamation that His love never quits.
How do we even grasp all that it means to know God and that his love never quits? The definition of never carries with it a divine weightiness – at no time in the past or future: on no occasion; not ever. Apply this to God’s Word and you sense eternity seeping through the promise.
When never becomes the bridge between love and quits it pierces human hearts, desperate to love and be loved. Because love first loved us, it convicts us to confess our sin and accept wholeheartedly, by faith, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is this love that inspires us to obediently embrace our Kingdom assignment. It is this love that moves us from justification to sanctification and ultimately ushers in glorification.
And it is this love that has promised over and over again to never leave or forsake us. As you count your blessings and gratitude swells, remember to always give thanks for this extraordinary gift of God’s great faithfulness to you.

Thank God! He deserves your thanks.
His love never quits.
Thank the God of all gods,
His love never quits.
Thank the Lord of all lords.
His love never quits.
Thank the miracle-working God,
His love never quits.
The God whose skill formed the cosmos,
His love never quits.
The God who laid out earth on ocean foundations,

The God who filled the skies with light,

His love never quits.
Moon and stars as guardians of the night,
His love never quits.
The God who struck down the Egyptian firstborn,

And rescued Israel from Egypt’s oppression,

Took Israel in hand with his powerful hand,

Split the Red Sea right in half,

Led Israel right through the middle,
His love never quits.
Dumped Pharaoh and his army in the sea,
His love never quits.
The God who marched his people through the desert,
His love never quits.
Smashed huge kingdoms right and left,
His love never quits.
Struck down the famous kings,
His love never quits.
Struck Sihon the Amorite king,
His love never quits.
Struck Og the Bashanite king,
His love never quits.
Then distributed their land as booty,
His love never quits.
Handed the land over to Israel.
His love never quits.
God remembered us when we were down,
His love never quits.
Rescued us from the trampling boot,
His love never quits.
Takes care of everyone in time of need.
His love never quits.
Thank God, who did it all!
His love never quits!

As you consider this Scripture, what does it reveal about where you are in your walk with God? What difference does it make knowing this is true? What needs to change about how you live and lead when you proclaim that His love never quits?
